Would Not Function - Instructions Incomplete Nov 29, 2010
By Amazon Fan! Purchased with 16 GB card.
Instruction manual is unclear.
Computer did not recognize unit.
CD files (drivers) did not load and received compatiability error from Windows Vista. Tried to work with XP machine - no success. Tried Windows 7 - still no success.
Charging never gave a "charged" indication - after 6 hours still "charging".
Remote not recognized by unit. No response.
Returned.

pros and cons Jan 26, 2011
By Nelson2013 As a clock: Cool! - slick design - lots of features
As a camera: Not Bad. - remotely takes still and motion shots, including audio. - this is an affordable remote control camera if you do not mind its low resolution. Warning: Micro SD card was not included from the package.
As a SPY CAMERA: Does not makes sense at all! It's like a joke. - The clock will flash blue LED lights when it starts to record a video or photo, manually or via its motion detector. It is very obvious, even a toddler could notice it.
Battery life (on my estimate only): - takes 4 hours to fully charge the battery included. - without switching ON the camera it will last very long, ... forever? - I got about 30 minutes of video and it drained all the battery totally.
I would not hook up the usb cable to the power outlet (to keep the battery charging) when I use it as a spy camera because it is very obvious that there is something else going on with it. Doing it will open a cover on its side that will show the usb socket, the micro SD slot, and the camera ON - OFF button, which could attract attention and adds to my description that as a spy camera it does not makes sense at all.

Piece of crap Feb 25, 2011

I ordered the cam a few days ago and checked it out right when it was delivered.
After inserting the battery, I found out that the cam didn't charge at all - I tried via the USB port on my PC and also on the electric outlet with the charger that was part of the camera package. The LED stayed red despite my attempts to charge the camera for 20 hours and more.
Also, I tried to get a connection with the remote control to the camera. The battery had a little power upon delivery so I could set the time and date and thus I tried to get at least a picture taken or a short video recorded. No success - the camera didn't even respond to the remote no matter what button I pressed. The whole remote felt quite cheesy from a quality perspective and its malfunction didn't make me wonder anymore to be honest ...
Last but not least I tried to refer to the manual - this is really a joke. It appears to me that this was translated straight from Chinese and I keep my fingers crossed for everyone who likes to figure out this type of English .... Frankly, the manual was no use to me ...
After all this experience with this piece of junk, there was just one option for me: return to Amazon asap and get a refund. [...]

"False" Advertising Mar 29, 2011
By hindend This product is advertised as being able to record a video up to 12 hours, which is very misleading. It only records for 20-30 minutes at a time and then automatically shuts off. It will record on motion for longer but only records for a few minutes each time it detects a movement. Plus, while set on "motion" there is a light that is constantly blinking which is very obvious to anyone.

product doesn't work Apr 06, 2011
By customer this product is a good idea, that doesn't work. We were only able to get the camera to record on 50% of our attempts,it will not record when plugged in, and the battery charging is almost impossilbe. when it did work, it worked quite well, but again, not reliable.
